MYSL Update - May 31, 2011

Hello Coaches,

~Summer Play
Any roster changes for Summer must be into the MYSL Office by 6:00 pm TOMORROW, June 1.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
We are still looking for teams in all ages and genders.

Congratulations to all of the Mission teams that helped to make the SF Cup a success.  Special congratulations to all of the teams that made it through to the semi-finals:  United Girls U14, Green 99 U11 Boys, Chivas USA U13 Boys, Rebel Rams U14 Boys - well done!

~Dolores Park Soccer Field
The city is currently planning a renovation of Dolores Park.  We would like to see another soccer field at this location, but coaches or parents in the Mission League need to come to an important meeting to voice their desire to have a field installed.  The meeting is 6:30 PM, Thursday, June 2 in the Mission High School cafeteria, 3750 18th St.  See the attached announcements.

The Pacifica United Soccer Club invites you to apply for the 8th annual Coast Cup Tournament (August 27-28). The tournament is hosted by Pacifica United Soccer Club and the Mission Youth Soccer League and approved by District 1 and sanctioned by the CYSA Board of Directors.

Hi my name is Ashley OBrien and I am the Director of Operations for the University of San Francisco Womens Soccer. I wanted to make aware to your organization of the Soccer Camps that we are hosting this summer, and hope that you will pass this information on to any interested players and teams. USF soccer camp is the perfect opportunity to participate in drills that are both challenging and fun, learn and receive feedback from division one soccer players and coaches, and make new friends.
