MYSL Update - May 11, 2011

Hello Coaches,

Please make sure that you read all of the way through this email for some important updates.

~CCSL

-Any Girls U9-U11 team that signed up for CCSL Silver Elite or above must go back on to the CCSL site and sign up for the Silver Division.  This will be the only option.

-If you are planning to play in CCSL and your name is not on the attached list (District 1 League Play as of May 10), you will need to do both the District Release form and the CCSL sign up.

~Coaching Licenses

It has been brought to our attention that classes for the F license are very difficult to find right now.  Vikings will have some clinics coming up.  They are still working on the venue, but the dates intended are:
6/10/2011 6-9pm at Vikings League Office & 6/11/2011 9am-4pm 
6/17/2011 6-9pm at Vikings League Office & 6/18/2011 9am-4pm
7/15/2011 6-9pm at Vikings League Office & 7/16/2011 9am-4pm 
8/12/2011 6-9pm at Vikings League Office & 8/13/2011 9am-4pm 
8/19/2011 6-9pm at Vikings League Office & 8/20/2011 9am-4pm 
8/26/2011 6-9pm at Vikings League Office & 8/27/2011 9am-4pm 

Coaches can go to the Vikings web site and sign up today.  DO not need photos or to be Vikings coach.  Please sign up.

San Bruno is hosting an E-class on June 10/11/12 in San Bruno.  If you are interested, please le Mr. Guzman know.

~Looking for Players
If coaches have extra players or know of players looking for a team, please give them our info so we can put them on teams.  We need both genders, all ages 5 years old to 19 years old.

~Memorial Weekend Jamboree
There is a 7 v 7 Jamboree we can highly recommend in Berkeley at the Gilman Soccer Complex on Memorial Day Weekend. It's only $200 per team and uses modified rules - no offsides, subs on the fly. There is a Class 3 division. You can go with your UH team or build a jamboree team with players from various teams, as long as they have a valid player card.
