Dear Coaches and Managers of teams playing in the CCSL Coast Spring Soccer League:
Are you ready for your matches?
Do you know how to print your match card? How many match cards are needed**?
Do you know how to add your uniform (jersey) numbers to your match card?
What to do to use a guest player for your game?
All this information has a 'How to" on the home page of the website www.CCSLCoast.org
Where's the game again??
Clicking on a field name in your schedule brings up detailed information on the field and a map. You can copy the address of this page to send to your parents.
Great game, now what do I do?
Do you know how to report your score?
Rate your referee?
Report usage of Guest Players?
There are instructions for these on the home page at www.CCSLCoast.org Referee evaluation will be consolidated and sent to assignors at the end of the season, guest player stats will be used to evaluate current guest player rules. Your attention to these will give you input to the future of the Playing League. After you have reported your score and other game information, save your match card until the end of the season when they can be safely destroyed.
Remember you need to be logged on for activity on the website. Limited information is available for viewing by the general public. If you can't see your opponent's contact information, or if you can't do what you think you should be able to do, you're probably not logged in!
Rosters have been loaded to your game card from the CYSA registration system as managed by your club/league registrar. We will update your roster on the CCSL site with changes from the CYSA registration process once per week. It is possible that you may have added a player by turning in the paperwork to your club/league registrar, and have a valid pass for them, but they have not been uploaded to the game card yet. In that case, write them in as a guest player. They have a valid card; they are eligible to play!
If you have a roster with more than 18 players, they may not all print on this weekend's match card. Sorry, we will fix that ASAP, please write in any additional players, but remember, no more than 18 may check in for any game.
Guest Players
You are being asked to report guest players as we wish to gather data on guest player use in Spring League. Writing in guest player's names and CYSA ID makes the guest players identifiable to the referee and the opposing team. Reporting them on the website allows us to understand how guest players are used in the league so appropriate rules can be implemented in the future.
Team information
Did you know that you can provide your parents and players with a short link to all your team's information? Your team page has a link to your schedule, results, standings etc! You can find the shortest web address to this page by going to the home page and clicking on Clubs in the left hand menu. Find your club name, then click on the team icon in the RIGHT most column. This brings ups a list of teams. Find your team name and click on that row to get to a page consolidating information for that team. That page address is a great one to send to your parents and supporters!
Enjoy the opening weekend. The rain has stopped and it's time for some soccer!

CCSL Coast and Bay Spring League
** The answer is: Two match cards, one for each team and both match cards must have guest players written in, including the guest player's CYSA ID#. It's in the rules. . take a look!
Also -
This Spring when the home and away coaches report scores and send offs there is also a section for referee feed back. The CCSL web master will compile the data from this section and make it available to the leagues and clubs to use to analyze referee performance. Please encourage your team officials to take the time to accurately fill out the form. This will give us information to improve the game experience for all involved. Please contact your coaches that are participating in the the Spring League and let them know the importance of the reporting of scores, send offs and referee performance. The send off reporting is a feature that I review on a daily basis to make sue that send offs are reported in a timely manner. So when a team official asks why do we have to do this, please let them know it is for the good of the game and is being put to good use.

Dear Coaches & Managers,
1) U12 - U14 teams: if you were rained out either of the first two weekends, and you want a makeup game this coming weekend (so you'd play a doubleheader), please email veronica@sfvikings.com immediately. We have a few open field slots.
2) Early next week we'll put up a new web page so interested families can find UH teams that still need Fall players. If you have not emailed us yet, and you want to be listed, please do so right away.
3) The rainout site now also lists fields in San Bruno, Brisbane, and South San Francisco.
4) The emergency Game Day Phone number is (415) 215-1290. Please only call that number in case of real emergencies.
