~College Night
MYSL College Night is February 25 at the Sports Basement from 6:30 -- 8:30. All players U14 and up are encouraged to attend with their parents. (See attached flyer)

Dear Jose,
Participate in the 24th annual San Francisco Cup, Copa de San Francisco. This premier soccer tournament features top-level competitive teams, both boys and girls in age groups U11 to U19. The excitement begins on Saturday, May 28, and runs through Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day). All US Soccer-affiliated teams and International teams, including US Club, CYSA, USYSA, Super-Y and AYSO are welcome to apply.

All games will be played in San Francisco at the new Crocker Amazon Soccer Complex and the newly renovated Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park. Each team is guaranteed three (3) games.

Entry Fee
For completed applications received by March 1, 2011:
U12-U19: $600.00
U11: $400.00
For completed applications received after March 1, 2011:
U12-U19: $650.00
U11: $450.00

Spring League
The opening day for Spring registration has been pushed back to Wednesday (Jan 12th) in order to test out the website and processes.

Information will go out to teams on Tuesday (likely late). All teams that played in fall CCSL Coast and Bay will be contacted, as well as this group and the D2 board.

I have been asked by the D2 Commission to be the Spring League Director. I have agreed to do that with a goal to work on the nuts and bolts to ensure we have a solid structure for running a league going forward. The D2 and D1 Boards and CYSA board is working on improving the overall structure of the CCSL League to allow it to grow and to better support the local districts (ie the Coast and Bay levels) If you have input please ensure your league president is aware of it as there is a D2 Board meeting tomorrow.

I will be recruiting a variety of help, please look to your email in a couple of days for a list of what we need. Although this group is technically the Fall league, spring is a supporting component and I hope you will be able to help or refer others who can step up.

~Winter League
The Winter League play date schedule is now available. Check under the Schedule and Standing tab to view your schedule. The home team is responsible for securing home field location. Each team must follow their CLUB'S field assignment procedures. Contact your Club Field Assignor for your field assignment and available time. Email your home schedule, field location and general directions along with the game times, to CCSLwinterleague@calsoccerleague.org no later than January 9th, 2011.
